Banana Pancakes
Time to prepare: 15/20min
Ingredients:
-
2 Bananas well mature
-
200/250g flour
-
60g sugar
-
2 eggs
-
125ml warm milk (not hot!)
-
125ml cream liquid
-
2 teaspoon baking powder
-
1 pinch of salt
One day, while the bananas were not love anymore because they were starting to be to old, I thought I should do some snack with them... But I did not want to do (Again) the loved but to much bake Banana Cake...
After some search and tries in the kitchen, the Banana Pancakes become a real favourite at home!
For those who (as me) don't like that much the taste of the banana in dessert, promise, you will like them too! ;-)
Preparation :
In a bowl, smash the bananas. Add the eggs and mix well until it is smoothie.
Add the milk, the cream and the sugar and mix well.
Gently add the flour, the baking powder and the salt. It is better to add the baking powder together with the flour first.
Depending of the size of your bananas adjust the quantity of the flour. The mix has to be smoothie and as thick as it is a cake's mix.
Taste the batter and adjust the salt if needed. If the taste is too insipid it is probably because of a lack of salt and not sugar...
In a hot pan, put 3 or 4 small bunch of batter. When the top start to "bubbling" turn them on the other face.
Make careful to adjust well the heatness of your pan (middle to high). It has to cook well inside but it can burn fastly!
I only oiled the pan for the 1st run...
Bon appétit...
