CHOCOLATE SPREAD

to say NO to palmoil!!!

Ingredients:

  • 150g Hazelnuts  (I am sure that it can be amazingly incredible with almonds! Have to try next time!!!

  • 200g Milk Chocolate (Palmoil free...)

  • About 1/2 cup of icing sugar

  • 1 tblspn of cacao powder (no  sweet)

  • Fresh vanilla clove or some vanilla extract

  • Around 1/4 cup of oil . Pour the oil softly until the good consitstancy of your spread. Also it depends if your nuts are very dry or not. Adjust the oil to the right texture at the end.

The proportions for icing sugar and oil are depending of your taste and the texture attended. Here are the ones we prefer but you can add more or less.

Preparation:

Put the nuts under your grill in the middle of your oven until about15min.

Let them cool and roll them into a tea towel to take off the skin ( no matter if there is still some left...)

Mixed the nuts until it becomes a dough (or not if the nuts are too dried. No worry, you will adjust with the oil...).

Melt the chocolate and add the dough nuts then the cacao and vanilla. Adjust the taste with the icing sugar and the texture with the oil.

You can mix your spread with your blender to have a texture more smoothy.

To "fix" your chocolate spread, put it in a fridge for a couple of hours.

This spread can be store several weeks and no need to be put into the fridge.

Futhermore it is a 100% guarantee palm oil free and with no additives or any other kind of unknown ingredients!!!

Bon appétit!

The mixture of chocolate, nuts, sugar, vanilla and cacao is dry. Adding some oil will make it smoothy.

To make it more smooth, mix it again.

Here is the kind of blender I use to make it smoother.
