Mishmash salad
We all have some food scraps that we don't know how to use. Especially beacuse there are never enough to cook them how we used to. Sometimes you just have to dare!
This salad can have a lot of different varieties, but here is the last one I did and which was pretty good!
Here are the ingredients of the day:
- Soyabeans
- Tomatoes
- Radish (here it is some white Turnip)
- Green Salad
- 1 cup of Basmati rice (or any kind of rice)
- Bacon
A must have: Spices!
- This time I choose some Garam Masala. But we can choose any kind of spices. A mix of Cumin/curry is perfect also for salads.
- Salt
- Pepper (I prefer the crushed one)
Classic dressing sauce:
- 1 teaspoon of real mustard (de Dijon please!)
- 2 teaspoom of olive oil + 2 teaspoon of sunflower oil.
- 1 teaspoon of red wine vinegar + 2 teaspoon of balsamic vineagar.
To have a smoothy one, add each ingredient one by one in this order.

Preparation :
So, you may notice on the pic that there is not that much of rice and a lot of everything!
Chopped the turnip (or radish) and the tomatoes. Put the bacon under the grill or on a pan (no need to add oil!), while it is grilled, take off all the fat and chopped it.
Mixed all the ingredients, the dressing sauce and add slightly the spices of you choice until it tastes good for you.
We can eat your salad like that or with a steam fish, grilled meat or some eggs any style.
Bon appétit !
