Ingredients:
-
250g flour all purpose
-
90g sugar
-
2 eggs
-
200ml warm milk (if to hot the baking powder won't work!)
-
150ml cream
-
2 teaspoon of baking powder
-
1 pinch of salt (I put 1 teaspoon)
It's been a while since I haven't share a recipe with you because of a lack of time in my daily routine... But, a few weeks ago a friend (American!) asked me to give her my pancakes recipe... So I thought it would be good to share it here as well ;-)
I adapt this recip from the Banana Pancake's (here) as my children asked for some pancakes while we were running out of bananas...
Preparation:
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk until the mix foams.
Add the sugar and cream.
Mix the baking powder with the flour and then add the salt.
Add gently the flour to the eggs mix and whisk it well until the mix is smoothy.
It has the consistancy of the paste cake.
Taste to make sure there is enough salt, if not it wont have a nice taste.
In a hot pan, put 3 or 4 small mound of paste. When you see some bubbles on the top turn the pancakes on the other side.
Make careful, if the heat is to hot the pancakes won't be cooked inside... It is better t have a middle heatness.
I never put any oil on the pan, or on the 1st time only.
Bon appétit...
